Is the 15450 big enough?
Hi guys, finally joined the AP owners club.
When researching I was torn between 39mm and 37mm. My wrists are only 6.5" but I read a lot of people being a little bit down on the 15450. It's true that the 39mm has some historical importance and I did want one for that reason, but getting the right size for the wrist is so important in my view. For me, the 15450 is perfect. So if you're a chap with smallish wrists, then forget the stigma attached to the number 37 and buy with confidence.

It looks great congrats, usually not a big fan of white dials but it goes well with your tatoo. Your wrists are not small at 6.5, but shape is more important than size and it's perfect on you, when I see people wearing 15400's which are clearly too big for them it looks awful IMHO

I like the 37mm and I was considering it once. Eventually, I passed up on it and has since bought the Nautilus 5711 White Dial :)

beautiful watch and perfect fit.
the only thing about the 15450 that brings me down is that i don't have one! assuming one doesn't insist on the jumbo, what's not to like? |

Spot on
I did the same with 6.75" wrists and no regrets. You made a wise choice.

looks great. I have one too. 15400 was way too big for me. WatchUwant has a video comparison with the jumbo in its 15450 review and the sizes are pretty close.

That looks really good. I finally got to try one on, with a 6.75" wrist, in the hopes it would work for me. I wanted to get a blue dial version once it became available. My wife took one look at it and ruled it as too small for me. We both agreed the 15202 was just right, and the 15400 was a bit hefty, but could be pulled off. It's interesting how the shape of the wrist matters so much as well as circumference.

Definitely big enough. Watch sizes shouldn't matter. I find that many individuals think its the norm to deviate to the larger size as it's the perception of what the market demands.
In realty, it's suppose to be like choosing a t-shirt size, suit size, etc. You don't wear a large shirt when you are clearly a small. Nor will you wear a 32" waist pants when you are a "28" waist. Everything is the same between the 1540 and 15400. It's just proportions. Ultimately you get what fits you best. If you happen to like the larger size or vice-versa, get that. |

Looks great, I'd love to get one for my 6" wrist. The bonus with the 15450 is that the movement fits the case much better. The case back on the 15400 looks goofy compared with the correctly proportioned 15450.

Ok so when I reach a social status appropriate for the 15450 rose gold white, the 37mm will be it. Haha

Very well proportioned to your wrist size. I too have the "midsize" model and find that its perfect for my 6.75" wrists. Love the silver/white dial. Excellent choice.

Small wrist for me too so had to let the Jumbo go, awaiting the issue of the new blue dialed 15450 novelty. That does look perfect for your wrist and a beauty of a dial!!

My AD in Canada already received one and was swooped up quickly. Worth a shout to your AD or call the boutique.
