Went with the diver

So I went with the diver! I've had the watch for about four days. So far, I'm very pleased and surprised by the finish of the watch. Just flat out impeccable! The slight arch of the octagonal bezel is clean and complex. The polished surfaces play nicely against the satin matte surfaces. Using gold screws to add that little pop and surprise!

So far I'm gaining about 8 seconds a day. Hopefully, this levels out a bit. I'm curious how accurate your watches are?

Factory production specs are -2/+10, but the SCs will regulate it tighter, if you ask nicely.

The offshore uses steel screws or Ti screws doesn't it? Pretty sure only the RO/ROC uses the gold screws.

Pretty sure that is because the offshore (especially the diver) are meant for lower water ratings, and gold screws cause an issue at deeper depths. This is what I have been told.

Unfortunately AP is far from Rolex or Patek when we speak about accuracy!
So any value btw -10 and + 10 are ok for AP!
But you can try to send for adjust accuracy but don't have dreams about accuracy like Rolex!

Makes since about the screws, being a dive watch. Thanks. My sub, vintage 5513, isn't that accurate, but it's 50 years old. My fathers, dark side of the moon is within a few seconds a month. I wonder how accurate a L.Ferrier or FP journe. My grail watches.

I thought its been said many times accuracy is about regulation, at least among these quality movements.

Congrats on diver, I just got mine 2 weeks ago too, and quickly got it on bracelet. Mine is so far running about +4. But I am pretty sure if I experimented with the positions I set it down at night I could get the daily deviation better, just can't be bothered to.

Congrats!

After years of being OCD about my Rolexes when it comes to accuracy, I've learned to "not care" since I got my first AP.
My 15400 (same 3120 movt) is no where near Rolex's accuracy but at least I can see the beautiful movement
