Hello from Kansas...

Newbie here. Never owned a Rolex. Just started my luxury watch journey this year. Still trying to figure out what brand is going to work best for me. I have owned 4 Omegas. 2 Breitlings and 1 Tudor since January. I have been trading in and out of each one. Currently holding an Omega Aqua Terra 150m stainless steel and a Breitling Superocean A17364 with 2 stainless bands. For sale too! ;)

Anyway. I would love to get in to a Rolex. I find myself drawn to the classic black Sub, although the Hulk, Batman, Kermit, Coke, Pepsi are all calling my name as well as the rest of the world it appears.

My biggest question to you experts would be...with the volatility of the Rolex market, how are you determining your best purchase prices? It looks like at the beginning of the year a Batman could be had in the low to mid 9's but now maybe low to mid 10's? Is there a running spreadsheet out there to help with pricing so that someone like myself does not pay more than he should for a particular piece?

I look forward to learning from you all!
