Was anyone able to fit one of these adjustable clasps on a (1998/849) bracelet with sleeve and pins? I have a 3570.50 with one of those bracelets and am looking to get ana adjustable clasp.

And in terms of end links, there are two different ones that should fit the 1998 bracelet on my 3570.50:

I'm going to try and stop by the OB soon and see if I can pick up these parts

Think should work, you may need the clasp end links as well

Well that's what I'm asking, has anyone been able to find the correct clasp end links? The ones I've seen online are all the screw type.

The screw type end links will work on your bracelet; check the various threads (watchuseek forum) on fitting it on the 1610/930 bracelet which is pin and tube just like your bracelet

I ended up buying a half link for my bracelet and have been using that for now. I may go to the Omega Boutique this week and pick up the clasp as well. From my understanding, the parts we need are in the post you quoted. Any of the clasp references will work, but for the end links, I think only one of the ones I listed will work with the 1998 bracelet. I saw a post somewhere, where someone has used the clasp successfully on the 1998 bracelet. Will try and dig up the link and will post it here.

Thanks a lot raheelc! I plan to call the OB sometime this week and order the clasp and end links. I will update this thread as well with my findings for future reference and just so the info is here as well.

Hi Guys,
I'm after some advice. I have a Omega Co‑Axial Moonwatch Chronograph 44.25mm.
(311.30.44.51.01.002)

I've just emailed my OB regarding the clasp upgrade and they could source the clasp but the endlinks aren't showing up on the system. Is there a different part number for these?

117stz001154 (adjustable Clasp x1)
0118ST1589 (End links x 2)

Thanks!

Just got around to getting the clasp conversion done last week at my local Omega Boutique. The tech was off the night I went in so the store manager himself performed the surgery. Total cost was $227 including tax.
I was one of those folks who just couldn't get the correct bracelet fit, always too tight or too loose with the existing links/clasp. This was an instant fix, it's now comfortable and I'll now be wearing it much more this summer.
I can't say enough good things about this Omega Boutique and all of the others I've visited around the country. They have all been knowledgable about their brand and exceptionally friendly whether I'm buying something or just coming in to chat. I wish all watch brands had the same level of service.

Fantastic thread! I could never get my bracelet on my Moonwatch to fit right. I needed a half link I thought. Bought an OEM alligator and deployant and liked it ; but always thought it begged for the bracelet. That’s the iconic look for the Speedy. Thanks to this great information I am happy to say I had my watchmaker get the OEM parts and now I’m loving the Speedy even more. Fits great! Thanks OP.

I've noticed the recent Tokyo Olympic Games LEs have a different clasp from the Speedy pro, with just the Omega greek letter and the word "Omega". Do they come with the micro adjustment clasp as default?

Does anyone know if Omega would refuse to service a watch that had an micro-adjustable clasp fitted that was not a factory standard?

I guess the solution would be to not send the bracelet.

Doubt would refuse to service the watch but as said above maybe just better to send just the head (unless you wanted them to polished the band as part of the service)

Icon14 Removing a link

Really good information on this thread. It helped me get the right parts and do the swap out on my own. Thanks to everyone that provider some good photos!

Once I put the new adjustable clasp on my bracelet I had to remove one link due to the larger size of the new adjustable clasp. With the old non-adjustable clasp I had an even number of links on both the 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock sides of the bracelet. I ended up removing the link on the 12 o'clock side.

Many sites will say when you have an even number of links and need to remove one to do so on the 6 o'clock side.

But with the adjustable clasp when you move it out due to warmer weather, the adjustment moves out on the 12 o'clock side of the bracelet. So in my experimenting on which side was better to have a link removed, it was best in my opinion to take one off the 12 o'clock side. Made a pretty big difference overall.

Hope this helps.

Classic Moonwatch (Hesalite) with the adjustable clasp is awesome! This watch is getting some serious wrist time with the 50th anniversary of the Lunar Landing coming up in a couple of months.

The definitive Speedmaster adjustable clasp thread

I used 4666 adjustable clasp (3 position adjustments) with 1589 saddle links. Excellent fit!

I had the adjustable clasp installed on my new Speedmaster this past weekend at the OB in San Antonio. Great bunch of guys to work with and the fit is perfect now. I highly recommend this upgrade!

I'm glad this popped up. My clasp and end links should be delivered today so I picked up some pointers in making the switch. Looking forward to finally bonding with this bracelet. I have had two Speedies before this one and never hardly wore the bracelet due to not being able to find the sweet spot.

Hi Guys,
Looking for some help here - I've got the adjustable clasp installed on my wife's 42.25 (9300) Speedy. I really need a half link still - so that I can wear the watch LOL!
Currently the watch is just a hair tight on me with the adjustable clasp extended to maximum. I've searched everywhere but can't find any solution.

Does the bracelet use the screws in the links, or is it the pin and collar style?

Unfortunately there are no half links for the screw type bracelet. The pin and collar style has half links. You could just add a full link and then use the adjustable clasp accordingly.

Therein lies my problem! If I add a full link, it is now too large at (completely retracted) for my wife.. so annoying haha

Just came across this thread! Like many of you I'm still searching for that perfect fit.

I contacted a couple of boutiques in Chicago and both wanted around $450...

Any advice on how to get the $200 price? Thanks in advance!

Sounds to me like there was an increase in the price of the components.

I just picked up the pieces at an OB in Canada and paid about CAD 155 for the 6-position clasp and CAD 140 for the two end links. Divide by about 1.30 to put it into USD.
