Eat meat, stay happy.

A recent study suggests vegetarianism may be linked to depression.

In fairness, it also states : "Given that the study was quite small, and will need to be repeated in a much larger sample of both men and women, it’s hard to draw any real conclusions."

Still, food for thought.

Becoming a vegetarian is a missed steak.

I love the idea of being a vegetarian. But not a chance I could do it.

I’ve tried. Failed.

Same! I respect those that do, and eat a lot of vegetables myself. That being said, just can't fully do it.

I did not even make it a month. I can manage some strict diet action but just could not go without any meat. Wife did better than me but she only lasted a couple months.

I eat a vegetable-centric diet, but I still eat meat, limiting the red variety and focusing on chicken and fish.

I’ve been struggling with this a long time, not for health reasons, but moral ones.

I could write a book about my feelings on this subject.

I'd worry about processed sugars and refined grains before stressing over meat.

I must admit that there are tons and tons of really delicious vegetarian & vegan recipes, and it's not bad to cut down on the meat intake.

This would be my take on things.

I don't know what you'd define as the near future, but I doubt your outlook. As long as folks feel bad about taking food out of the mouths of grazing animals, there will be meat eaters.

I try to only eat meat at dinner and limit it to 8 ounces or less usually organic free range chicken. Not ideal but I’m not strong willed. Then come weekend who knows what I’ll eat haha

Vegetables are what food eats.

I've actually cut way back on meat. I've started to incorporate a lot of vegetarian/macrobiotic meals into my diet. Tofu is not as heinous as I thought.
