Conor McGregor

I was curious how you guys feel about Conor McGregor.

Do you like or dislike him?

Do you think he is too crazy or does he just know how to make money?

Good MMA fighter. Too arrogant maybe.

I am glad that Mayweather showed him why he can’t compete in boxing at the top level.

I respect him.

But I don't necessarily like how he acts.

Can't blame him though, I suppose.

He is a marketing genius. He has created an empire based on his act.

He fell into a windfall opportunity and played it for all it was worth.
No crime in that. But to me, his act is tiresome, low on class and not very original.

I think he's gotten too arrogant, but it is for the promotion. Studied Floyd's 20 year business plan, and is following it step-by-step.

Respect his MMA skills but outside the ring he’s as despicable as Floyd Mayweather.

As Mayweather proved, being the most hated man in any sport gets you paid.

He is a huge ass and a big ttime narcissist. I mean, he recently got in trouble for cussing out a ring referee and slapping a NSAC official in the face (at a fight where he was a spectator in the stands)

Absolutely incredible fighter though. Maybe the most talented mma striker since Anderson silva

Precisely! People are happy to pay and see if someone can shut them up.

Once he's done with MMA, my guess is he'll go broke within 5 years.

I have to admit, I had no idea who he was until I read a bit into this thread. I don't follow UFC or MMA or whatever they're calling it these days though.

McGregor -Not that talented , big mouth , disrespectful.

My claim to fame is meeting Kostya Tszyu , trained at his gym at Rockdale , close to my place.

Now that is a humble champion , never bad mouthed anyone before or after a fight.

He unified the 140lb division in 2001 by beating the cocky Zab Judah, solidifying his position a top 10 if not top 5 all time p4p.

In the ring he was brutal :) , outside a gentleman.

I've alway wondered what would happen if him an mayweather met in their prime , styles make fights and I think tszyy hac the style to upset floyd
