Thank you Michael Young (Bracelet Magician)
The pin for the fliplock on the clasp of my 93150 bracelet became loose and bent the fliplock out of shape.
I took it to the RSC and they said they couldn't fix it, but could replace the entire clasp for me for $500. $500 sounded pricey to me. Instead, I emailed Michael Young (Classic Watch Repair) and he said send it in. That was 4 March. I sent it out to Michael Young by express post on 7 March. It was repaired by 13 March and I received it today. The cost was less than half of the new clasp that the RSC quoted me and it looks as good as new! Michael Young is the man! Thank you for the quick turnaround and amazing service! |

Can I just point out that MY doesn’t actually do it himself. He has a small team of skilled technicians that actually do the work so it’s them that should be praised as well as MY.

We do not know that team. We know of MY, so it is easier to praise him and hope it trickles down.

Here are the photos. It was annoying to have the pin come out a little on one side, because it caused the fliplock to bend out of shape and prevented the fliplock from closing properly. Also, there was bit of play with the pin, so that the bracelet would come out loose from the clasp.
