I used to wear navy socks with my jeans and sneakers but now I wear these all the time.

I like @subtona (Gus’) advice and go with wool socks, they are the best.

These I got from Amazon and are cotton, Marino was the brand.

Basically true. With jeans and sneakers, you can wear socks that watch the color of the jeans or the sneakers...doesn't really matter.

In general I try to match socks with my pants.

I have dozens and dozens of black, crew-socks for wear with jeans and a variety of casual shoes.

The socks match my dozens and dozens of black, Dickies® t-shirts.

I also have dozens of baseball caps in a variety of colors.

I am by no means a slave to fashion.
