AP RO Jumbo White Dial for 42K USD but there is a catch!

I was recently pulled the trigger on an AP Royal Oak Jumbo steel with white dial 2013 with service paper from Japan in 2014. I thought the watch looked mint in my eyes anyway, it has box and papers and the price was 330K HKD which is 42K USD I thought was reasonable. The dealer said the watch was on consignment.

White dial is less popular than blue dial but I have been tracking this watch for a long time, and have not seen one at this price for a long time. I wore the watch back from the dealer and noticed that the clasp was look and kept popping out so dropped it off at AP.

This was the service bill which is about 2300USD ! The dealer said the consigner would rather take watch back than pay for repair at AP. Surprisingly AP offered to repair buckle without doing full service which is apparently not always the case so I am now in dilema to keep the watch, just repair buckle or give it back or keep and do the full service and buckle repair?

What do you think?

I'd say keep (esp if price is good); been 10+ year so prob should get a light service anyway and even with the $2.3k maintenance you'll now have a new MINT watch WITH a new buckle AND ensure it's got no mechanical issues for less than $45k

Agree with this however without pics tough to tell. Not sure how bad the polish is.
