Incoming 1655!!

Well I'm crazy haha. Just picked up a black dial Daytona last week and I'm now flipping it for a 1655! Excited about the Explorer, but I think less than a week may be nuts!

Anyways I'll post a pic soon, heading to my watchmaker now where the watch is located

Alright well excuse the iPhone pics, but looks like a straight MK II. 1977 C&I rivet. 3.3 serial.

With a serial of 3.39 mil, I think it is more likely a late 1972 vintage.

Thanks John! And that's funny you say that, because I was researching and thinking the same. I guess I was thinking 77 because of the bracelet, but I think you are correct
