Rolex president bracelet fell apart
Hi all. So I was wearing my gold Rolex day-date 36 when it fell apart. The top cuff that connects the watch face to the actual presidential bracelet fell off and when I looked for the little piece I couldn't find it. So my question is how can I get it fixed because without that little piece my watch won't stay on my wrist. Many thanks.

If the watch is under warranty, bring to your nearest RSC.
If the watch is not under warranty, either source a new end link online and install it yourself, or have a reputable watchmaker do it for you. If that’s not an option, the. Bring to nearest RSC |

Take it to an AD or directly to RSC. I hope the rest of your watch didn't sustain any damage when this happened.

I assume you lost your pin inside the end-link which attaches the bracelet
to the case between the lugs ? Not a big deal...any watchmaker can fit a replacement set $10..? (change the other one as well)....or... Buy a gold plated set of 20mm pins from eBay and replace them yourself |

Im presuming you are in Peterborough UK. Not sure from your description whether you have lost the springbar (pin that attaches the bracelet to the head) or the end link (the shaped link that the springbar is threaded through) As suggested take it to an AD, if you have lost a springbar, both can easily be replaced with OEM 18k ones.

Use the original gold spring bars, steel ones will wear your case out

Should recommend replacing spring bars at intervals to avoid this. This could have been worse, watch could have been severely damaged or lost.

Hi the watch is only a few months old and it's the shaped end link that has gone. I still have the two pins on the inside thankfully. I would like to know where I could get a replacement for this as I have looked on the internet and my nearest authorised repair centre (a Goldsmiths in Leicester) said that they have never seen this before and I should consider buying a new presidential bracelet which I believe is ridiculous considering I have only need for a tiny piece. Is there a specific name for the end link that I could search for and find it? Thanks

Simple answer: Go to the seller who sold you that watch. You said the end link came off on a 2-month old Rolex - since they are not normally removable, you cant just buy one and add it back. That’s why Goldsmith’s said you need another bracelet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

This post just doesn't seem legit for a real brand new DD.

I’d be very interested in knowing as well. Assuming the OP wasn’t attempting some DIY project that went sideways, how on earth do you lose an entire end link? Wouldn’t that require a bracelet failure at two points simultaneously? You said it happened while wearing the watch - how’s your wrist doing?! Wouldn’t a decent amount of force be needed to yank the watch off and cause this failure?
