Ive been reading the forums for awhile but this is my first post. I would appreciate if someone can give me some advise. I put my name down a long time ago for the Steel Daytona in black and just got a call from the Rolex store that they finally have one for me. My question is would I be crazy not to get it? Any idea of what the resale value is brand new in the box with all of the papers etc?

If you like it buy it, you've waited for it after all. As for the 're sale value, I believe it holds it's own due to the model and rarity (in the sense of getting your hands on one). Just don't buy it to flip it.
