Submariner 5513 + Polywatch (YES, another success story)
I recently got my uncle's 5513 (he is the original owner) to get ready to sell on his behalf. He wore this well for the first ~15 years of its life and traveled the world with it (and it showed). For the past 20 years of its life, it has been in a sock drawer. I was actually starting to hunt for a replacement crystal when I decided it wouldn't hurt to give the 'ol Polywatch a go. I have used the "toothpaste method" in the past on acrylic for minor scratches but this Polywatch is no joke. I went to town on it while on calls throughout the day and each time more and more scratches disappeared.
Pics or it didn't happen so here you go (before on top, after on bottom):

Also, I've been giving my uncle the play by play with my cleaning of the watch and his feelings toward it have not changed one bit, haha. I have a picture of the dirt/grime between the lugs once I took the bracelet off...absolutely disgusting.
