Message about my username?

Folks, I just received a message from Rolex Foruns admin stating: "A new user has requested to use your forum username."

I am on the forum almost every day, but don't post often.

Is this a normal occurrence?

Thanks!

Adam (AKA: Rafalova)

Which Admin sent this? It may be a scammer posing as Admin.

This isn’t how it is usually done.

It's a scam - there is no actual message in my TRF mailbox. I did not follow the link in the message.

This clown is trying to be tricky - they changed m to n: rolexforuns

Stay frosty everyone!

TT

Ah… thanks for sharing.

Yep that’s a phishing email for sure.
