Warnings for Sellers?
Hi,
I'm relatively new to this forum and I'm thinking about selling a watch or two here. I understand potential risks for buyers but is there anything seller should avoid or be aware of? thanks, |

Getting defrauded. So many scams on sellers. Do yourself a favor: sell it or trade it to great seller, take a little less, and sleep well. Here are some good ones you can expect the hear: “The box was empty when I got it” (and here’s the pics or video to prove it) “The watch was damaged when I opened it” (and here’s the pics or video to prove it) “The watch had aftermarket parts on it when I opened it” (and here’s the pics or video to prove it) Etc Etc Hope it works out for you. I wouldn’t mess with this Risk for an extra 20%. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Plenty of scams in either direction. Easy to get taken advantage of if you dont know what your doing. For example using Paypal. They usually side with the buyer and they can claim anything to get there money back for many months after the sale and then send you a empty box back. Depending on what your selling you can do as the other guy suggests and use one of the Larger volume dealers here to get a fair price and not worry about getting ripped off. You will make a tad less but can sleep better at night.
