Green Jacket

Nice to see Scottie Scheffler wearing a Hulk while getting his green jacket. And I’m fairly confident Fred Ridley is wearing a platinum Daytona. Congrats Scottie!!

I noticed the same thing in Butler Cabin. The Hulk is pretty appropriate for the green jacket ceremony.

And, yes, it did look like the Chairman had a platona on. It looked like Jim Nantz may have been wearing a Rolex, as well, but I couldn't tell for sure.

It was a great few days of golf. Changing conditions, etc. Congrats to all players, even making par was a challenge.

The Masters is definitely my favorite golf tournament. Maybe the Hulk brought him good luck. Congrats to Scottie. Cheers!

Green Jacket

Fred had a platinum DD earlier in the week.

In 2021 it was a Sub...with some green of course.

For those who golf, the ability to maintain one’s composure over four hours and play at such a high level is something we can only imagine. That said, Scheffler’s talent and focus made the back nine rather uneventful.

Agreed

My wife and daughter had to endure my weekend of decadence, lazing on the couch with snacks, and drinks, doing a lot of moaning over missed putts, etc …

I explained it as follows:

My daughter is studying neuroscience at university and I told her that winning a golf tournament (especially one like the Masters) is like writing 4 killer Chemistry exams, 4 days in a row and acing them all.

She gets it now

Scotty maintained his cool while 3-4 other guys all came unglued. All while his wife was ready to give birt any moment.

Ditto...
I had the Masters App running/tracking Tiger for Rds. 3 & 4 and ESPN+ all 4 days.

Sunday's round was the golden golf day I've recalled since watching my first Masters in the late '50's.

The first 3 rounds were pretty tough to watch but some of the skills in adverse weather were astounding.
