So...did prices go up?

It is only Feb. 29th. Did they go up today or are they GOING up tomorrow? Is there a last chance for people who want to buy them before it goes in effect? I could see a run on the market today for those people that will be priced out by a 10-15% increase.

I was the one who said it was happening, and it did :)
Today.
You probably won't be seeing stock changed for a few days, but if you order a watch the price is UP......

My AD said he will not change until Monday. I would think if you bought today they would work with you, but that may be wishful thinking on my part.

I guess if you pay cash and your watch is in, then you are in good shape. If you have to order it, then you pay the increase. They had a couple of Pepsis at my place that I had my eye on...

I was at Shreve today. The sales manager said the price list has yet to be distributed to the floor, but that when the prices go up they may magically discount 5-7% because they're so nice. It's their new selling point even though the final discounted prices are higher than the old MSRP. Nice fellow, huh?

Forgot to mention. The store was EMPTY at lunch time.

I've yet to find an AD here in Houston to give a discount...on any Rolex including the traditional slow movers (14060m, airkings) I think they will see a slow down in sales with this latest and seemingly hefty increase just as the economy is tanking

Officially 3-1-08, but some dealers increased it starting today.

I phoned my AD late yesterday, and funnily enough he had not experienced more customers coming to him to buy Rolex than usual.
