Your thoughts on the 183?

Is this the bargin Radiomir (like the 210)? Is it better to get the G series used or a new one. Is the movement smooth to wind? Do you like the Black Seals?
Thanks!

It all comes down to what you like. The G isn't worth that much more, but a little as it is different and only made for on year. I personally like the 210 more on the Rad's and I like the second hand more on the Lum's. If you can try them on, you'll know quickly. Good luck. Wish I could be more help, but to each his own.

I have a 210 and 183. Prefer the 183 however does not see to much wrist time. The movement is OK but not as smooth as the 8 day in house movement. The 183 is just a good all around watch for daily wear. I personally would not pay extra for the G.

Some say 'less is more' and the 210 exemplifies this, as does Panerai in general. A simple, historic Panerai is on my list of watches to purchase. However, either one you choose, you will love it!

Also, have look at used/lnib/bnib PAM 232s on the secondary market.Since the housing induced,"I buy what I can on credit, with money that I dont have",banking, world financial crisis... the prices have come down a bit.Was selling at $9500-9500,now selling from $7200 upwards.Thats a lot of watch for relatively little money.
