Vintage Rolex 6424 Precision

I got another rare beauty a Rolex Precision 6424 with tropical gilt dial. The ref 6424 is the only Precision that has the larger 36 mm diameter case and 20mm lugs.

The watch is in very good condition and keeps good time. The black gilt dial has also turned tropical which adds to its visual appeal.

Don't often see jumbos without date.

Lovely. The thinner case on these makes them a perfect under-the-cuff watch, or on a perlon in the heat. Good for you

Nice.

Here are my two (from '64-65)

N.B. that this reference has no case lug holes, so the bracelet must use the #75 end pieces, which have a wider notch to remove the bracelet from behind the lugs.
