Any Hurricane owners?

Are there any Hurricane owners here? I came across the Hurricane from a WatchTime article a few days ago, and, I love it. I'm strongly considering one... I'm not sure if I want to go 45 or 50, and 12 or 24 hr time.

I know the 50 is pretty big, but, I'm kinda feeling that oversized case. I know the 12 hr would be the ideal choice, but, that 24 hr dial is pretty cool and quite unique. If anyone has that, is it confusing to tell the time without thinking about it?

Thanks.

I don't own the Hurricane but I spent a decent amount of time trying one on at an AD on a business trip a few months ago. I only tried on the 50mm version and was surprised at how much smaller it felt than I thought it would. The Breitlight case is amazing, almost felt like i wasn't wearing a watch at all.

Thanks! Was it a 12 or 24 hr? Maybe the black makes it appear smaller, or, the 69 gram weight

It was the 24 hour dial. Don't get me wrong, it's still a big watch but not what I was expecting at 50mm. I was wearing my SubC when I tried it on and it still felt bigger, just not as much as I thought it would be.

The weight to me was the biggest difference. I've never wore a titanium or ceramic watch so I don't know if that's comparable, but it's worth checking out if you get the chance. I'd opt for the 12 hour version since I think it's easier to read.

Sitting in the case at scherers mike. Stopped in to order a new strap for my navi. They also had an emergency II...HUGE. You could pull it off though

Went and tried it on. Absolutely loved it! The size was big, but not overwhelming. Couldn't believe how light it was. Even tried on the emergency, cool piece for sure.

I'm more than likely gonna add one. I just need to decide between the 45 and 50mm, and 12 or 24 hr display. I'm leaning 50mm and 24 hr display.

Thanks again for the head up, Tom.

Looking good mike

I think the 24 hour dial is a cool touch. Post pics if and when you pick one up
