I had a vintage DJ on my mind for next purchase but the more I see the white Explorer II I'm leaning toward picking one up instead.

I purchased mine from DavidSW just obverse a month ago, and never once regretted it. Today I finally got around to installing the Nato strap. Here's the first look. Yea or nea?

Looks spot on! That bracelet isn't going to do your watch any favours though

You are of course correct. The Explorer II is a true tool watch so it's not pampered like my Bluesy.

The cheap bracelet belonged to my deceased son-in-law. There's more sentimental value than anything else. I decided to put it on Mothers Day weekend when I added the first NATO strap "just because" and I've now taken it off. Yes, it left some light scratches just as you'd expect to see on a tool watch. Perfect! It's now properly broken in.

*I'm really enjoying changing the NATO straps!
