Thanks to all for the overwhelmingly positive thoughts! I really do feel it's the perfect watch for me at this time.
Rather than a self-hijack, I now seek advice re: straps. Help on that thread if you can! Thanks again!

Hi Bryan, Remember me ?

Let me be one of the many to congratulate you on your new watch.
THAT is a Patek I would love to own myself and I think it looks stunning.
The perfect dress watch, not over hyped, discreet, 38mm perfect size.
Pure dress watch perfection !

I hope you enjoy it for the rest of your life !

And for me it goes without saying, much much better than the previous one you had.

+1 I wanted to use exactly the same phrase (simply beautiful), but I was too late

So simple...
My colleague at the office, who has seen the Nautilus and an endless parade of Speedmasters, was at the "unveiling."
His comment:
"Wow! That's just a Joe Blow watch!"

Jeans For Charity day in Corporate Land.
I knew this watch would pull double-duty as the occasional dress-down day timepiece. I'm just amazed how such a classy watch can look so good with jeans and a polo. Resisting the urge to see the look with a T-shirt and shorts...
