SD’s lug to lug

Interestingly to me at least, I just tried on the newer version of the JCDS and it actually seemed smaller lug to lug then the SD43. Obviously it is thicker, but was surprised it seemed to wear smaller when looking from above on the wrist. Anyone else have this experience?

It’s not smaller, but it does big the wrist better due to the caseback being more flush with the case sides (due to massive DSSD thickness).

I have both and find the DSSD more comfortable.

Here are measurements another member posted. This wouldn't include the latest DSSD, so I don't know if that impacts the measurements any. The lug-to-lug measurements are labeled as "Height" on the table. (Highlighting in original.)

Well there is lug width (20, 22, 22) and distance lug to lug (6 to 12)?

Did you understand the question?

It seems you misread his post. Height in the table IS the lug to lug measurement. I have no idea what the highlight was for. Maybe it was for a different post.

I linked to the original post for the table. Here's the description from the person who created it, which explains the highlighting.

Thank you for the feedback. I think the measurements might be slightly different with regard to the updated version of the deep sea.
