Yes you can make micro adjustment on the clasp. Just as you would on an older rolex clasp. The bracelet is just attached to the clasp using a springbar. You can just use a pointed tool to compress one side first.

Does anyone know if and where one can purchase the Tudor distressed leather strap for the black bay! I purchased a grey market stainless steel bracelet model but I want that strap!

Check the classifieds on the forum first. An OEM strap is pricey.

I just wanted to thank you again for the tip. I used a straight pin to depress the spring bar and had it adjusted to my liking in about 10 seconds.

It could happen and probably will. Perhaps they'll use the same movement in the Plato's or North Flag but that means there will be a date ala Tudor Submariner. But then again it'll probably be more expensive as well.

This would make more sense than just issuing a new reference with just a new movement and adding a few liners on the dial (which makes it look more cluttered!)

I could be wrong. But if you're gonna wait and IF you can wait, well then you can look forward to the next Basel announcement which is almost a year away. If it happens then you waiting game pays off. If not...well then you'll probably be waiting again... I'd say just do it! Good luck!

No problem at all. Glad you have adjusted to your liking. The watch head is rather heavy so it is good to adjust the bracelet to reduce movement. ;)

I've had my Black Bay for five days now and it's running 2+ seconds per day which I think is just fantastic. Can't tell you how pleased I am with this watch and it's accuracy so far.

Angelo, I've had my BBB since the U.S. Release last summer, and it was running at approx +1.5 sec/day when it was new, and has since then settled in to 0 to +0.5 sec/day (checked according to USNO time. Fantastic accuracy. The BB certainly is a lot of bang for the buck. I couldn't be happier with mine. I hope you enjoy yours.

I'm loving this watch Edgars and really didn't expect this type of accuracy out of the box. In fact I'm sitting in the car now (parked) and just staring at it in the sunlight.

Got my Bonetto Cinturini rubber strap in the mail yesterday and today received the Bergeon 6767F spring bar tool. So I jumped right into it and made the switch.

By the way, the Bergeon spring bar tool works great. It took me about 20 minutes to get the bracelet off but it was the first time I ever did it and it was no fault of the tool. I was just being extra careful not to slip up and scratch the lugs or caseback.
