Man, you just took it to another level! It looks fantastic on rubber! OP, it’s a super cool watch if you appreciate the complication. I don’t agree that it’s a Datejust with another dial or whatever comment that was. It’s unlike other Rolex. As others have stated it’s not a rare watch so don’t let FOMO set in. Try it on and decide for yourself. Some have said they wanted it until they tried it on. I was the opposite. I had no interest until I tried it on. Hope you make the right decision! Very impressive watch but sadly too big for me.
I’d say don’t jump unless you absolutely love the watch, not just FOMO.

Not to thread-Jack but I’m looking for a TT white face skyD. Anybody know an AD with one who’s willing to ship? Everyone around me only has black dial.

Please update us after your appointment! Skydwellers are watches you have to see in person before forming your own opinion. They wear large but that won’t be a problem for your wrist. The two-tone models are the easiest to find (by that I mean not impossible) of the skyd collection so don’t pull the trigger unless it’s love at first sight. It’s a lot of money to spend on an impulse buy

Recently tried on a TT SkyD and it wears much larger than its 42mm size indicates. It’s a hulking and heavy watch. I’m no longer in the hunt for the white Sky D. Too big for me.

Hey guys, sorry, that pic got mixed up in my photos when i was doing research about rubber bands. I got 1 from the RubberB website and the other may be an everest or so, the design is different too. Sorry to create unnecessary excitement! These two are not mine, i just keep them all in the same SkyD folder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m 8.75 and 1 extra link is enough. 9 inch probably needs 2 extra links. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As far as size, it’s the same size as a Speedmaster at 42mm. However, it is quite thick at 14+mm. I have a small wrist but I don’t mind the size. I like wearing big watches. However, I will say that the SS version is probably one of the best values in watches with this level of branding and complications. My advice is to try it on and decide for yourself. Good luck! |

Hi, I recently got a SS White dial from Dominic at Hackett Watches in London. I've a 9 inch wrist also and I think the watch looks great on such a large wrist. Dominic needed to add two additional links and it now fits fine. He was also able to source the two extra links the following day direct from Rolex (appreciate this may not be the case for TT though) Very happy with the Sky-D. Dial is amazing .... the dial changes from white to silver depending on the light ... cant stop looking at it :) May be worth giving Rolex a call and see what the wait would be on TT links. |

Tried on this tt black dial in January that was sitting in the AD case, didn’t think these were too hard to get your hands on. Don’t get sucked into the hype just because they called you!
Size wise you will be just fine. Beautiful piece, but tt is just not for me. (Yet?!) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

My AD had one in stock this week.
They don't now. The difference, as already mentioned above, is that I wanted this particular model (to go with my SS black version). I asked my dealer on the off chance and they had it. They probably won't see another TT white one for 12 months. You appear to be trying to resist an impulse. Don't take me wrong, it's a fantastic watch. I could write a book about how much I love it. Maybe go and try it on? They don't command a stupid grey premium and people aren't queuing around the block for it - unlike the SS variants. So it will be easy to obtain. Comparatively. |

Going to make an appointment to try on next Friday as fortunately throughout the pandemic I have had work most days and that is my first free day, if its not for me then at least meeting the AD in person will make it more personal, as pointed out it wasn't on my radar but begining to warm to it, again at first look on screen the black appealed but now liking the white face, i have to go to if anything get it out of my system.
