SIHH 2019 new submersibles start hitting panerai boutiques HK.
i liked the 959(blue bezel) but now prefer the 683(black bezel) after seeing them on display.

I can’t stop looking at the 683. I wonder if it will feel a little small though... Dimensions can be deceiving. I saw a 682 next to a Rolex sub and the sub actually looked larger, despite the bezel dimensions.

I saw them a month ago In the Madrid Boutique. Still prefer the 616 in the Carbotech line, the grey dial Submersible is quite different, I like it on the wrist...

went to the boutique to try on the 683, 684 and 959 today. i like 683 the most as it looks perfect on blue leather strap. to my surprise the sales person also showed me two new models which i dont know they even exist. a pam 973 which is an ss submersible same as the 682 except it has the richemont group movement and the words submersible and 300m/1000ft printed in blue. another one is the pam 974 which is a rose gold submersible same as the 684 except it has the richemont group movement and the words submersible and 300m/1000ft printed in gold. but i cant find them even i searched the panerai website, anyone has seen these 2 new submersibles? may be the 42mm models are going to use the richemont group movement instead of the in house movement in the future, new strategy from the ceo?
