Six scape??

I cant find any reviews about this guy. He’s offering a great deal but I don’t want to deal with someone iffy. If anyone can shed some light that would be great. Thank you all

You’ve got this trust thing backwards...

You should be looking for 100 people who’d done that many flawless deals.

Where is this proposed sale taking place? Here on TRF? If not where?

Have you googled his details?

If you can't find feedback on him openly that you cannot validate yourself through whatever process makes you comfortable I wouldn't buy.

Best case result from soliciting feedback is one or two real pieces of feedback people never posted... Still not enough for many people to validate a purchase and any new seller would be pushing these guys to leave feedback here to build some history. Worst case you are opening yourself up to fake reviews in a classic case of confirmation bias.

Do your due diligence carefully...

(I have no positive or negative experience with the user, just posting my general advice)

He posted here on TRF. The grammar of his post led me to believe that his English might’ve not been 100%. Then after conversing with him via email, his grammar seemed on point. Just little things i was picking up like the name of the wire was completely different from his name. He’s out in VA and I’m in NY so f2f isn’t an option. He was very persistent on me going to the bank ASAP or he would sell the watch to someone else as he claims he has many offers. In the back of my mind I was thinking if he had other offers, he should’ve taken it as I low balled him to msrp on a stainless steel GMT LN with stickers on it and he accepted.

Yea I’m probably not going to go through with it. Seems to good to be true. I’d rather not risk it

Ahhhh thanks.

I think you described a suspicious set of circumstances and that alone would make me step back. Even without knowing the guy. Heck - he could be legit and someone hijacked his account.

Way too many red flags and typical scammer behavior.

I agree and decided I wont be going through with the transaction. Rather already pay grey market premiums or just hold off til my AD calls me with something incoming. At least I’d have s piece of mind

When there in a hurry like that its for a reason. They get it sent to them before the weekend which gives them more time to get away with the funds. Then delay you till theres no way you can get it reversed. You just saved a lot of money. Be patient and buy from a very trusted seller or wait for the AD's call. That way you wont be scammed. You dont want to be that guy posting here that "knew it was too good to be true" or "I knew it didnt feel right and should have known better" etc.

Funny, he told me he’s out in New York, (Amityville) to be exact. Definitely a no no now for sure in my books. Also was looking at the GMT
