Just completed a transaction with John (aka Springer) from TX ... I have to say it was a great experience from start to finish!

Not only does John have fantastic watches in great condition, he's a wealth of knowledge ... A true asset to the forum.

I wouldn't hesitate to transact with John again!

Just received a GMT from Springer. Better than described and what a gentleman to deal with. Great to talk to on watches and great communicator. The way things should be done, old style. Hand shake and integrity. Thanks John

Received my new 1982 GMT 16750 from John today. Very pleased as I am getting an education along with a fine example. John was great to do business with.

Thank you John, great seller

John, (aka Springer) is such a fantastic seller to work with, one of the most enjoyable transactions of my life. I am not sure many people would meet me at a hotel I was at for a sales meeting with a bag-o-watches to explain the pros and cons of each vintage GMT. His passion for the hobby comes out within 30 seconds, I am glad he took the time to impart some of the vast knowledge on me. Not only did he come out once...but TWICE during rush hour once I had decided on a timepiece to deliver it in person and make sure I was happy. John, I am sorry this took far too long, but THANK YOU!

What can I say that others already haven't said? I recently purchased a very clean 16750 GMT from John (aka springer) and he is a true professional. Excellent communication, clear in his expert opinion on Rolexs, and willing to work with you. He is a great person to boot! Thanks John!

Just had an awesome transaction with John. Would not have bought a vintage watch from anyone without the sort of reputation that John has on this forum. And I was not disappointed. Watch exactly as described - and just beautiful. Many thanks indeed my new friend.

Cheers!!

Had the pleasure of dealing with John (Springer) recently.

After I posted a thread in the vintage section about my newly acquired 5512 with a horribly refinished dial, John went out of his way to offer me, a very new member, a helping hand in locating a new, era correct, replacement dial for my watch. He went through the trouble of looking up my watch's serial number and verifying the correct dial for my watch. We spoke over the phone a few times afterwards, EXTREMELY nice, personable, and very knowledgeable guy, and expressed a genuine interest in helping me out.

A day later he was able to track down a dial for me, at an excellent price. The following day I had deposited the funds directly into his account and John shipped out the dial promptly the next day, once the funds had cleared.

I received the dial one day AHEAD of the expected delivery date, the dial was in excellent shape, and looked even better than it did in the pictures John had sent me.

Communication was A+, never had any issues, and John was always available to answer any and all questions that I had.

Excellent seller, and I would deal with him again in the future without any hesitation.

Thanks John!!

Dealing with John has been a pleasure. This is my 4th deal on TRF. His knowledge on GMTs (but not limited to!) is outstanding and very helpful. He helped me land my birth year 16760, as well as source a very nice condition pepsi insert for it. I sent him my watch first in trade with funds as well, and within 1 day he had the 16760 back to me. Very reliable, easy communication, and fast turnaround. Highly recommended seller!

Add another huge thumbs up for John aka springer....

Just completed a perfect transaction with John on a 1680. The watch is amazing and the deal was flawless, but the really enjoyable thing was getting to know John. He's a great guy and was hugely generous with his time. I consider myself very fortunate to have gotten to know him. Deal in complete confidence with him. Thanks, John, for a great transaction and remember - don't argue with an 18 wheeler.

Thanks Tom! Don't worry, my two-wheeler avoids those "big boys" like the plague.

Deja vu all over again with John aka springer. Just received a personal grail - a gorgeous '67 1675 - that John was willing to part with. Needless to say, the transaction was flawless, but the best part of it is always our phone conversations - I always learn something from John and his humor and generosity are unmatched. Thanks again, John!

Another satisfied buyer ... Thanks!

A big thank you to John for a beautiful GMT 16750. He was both gracious and generous providing insights on the watch, and GMTs in general. The transaction was smooth, and the watch was as described (and even nicer than I expected). I highly recommend John, and look forward to a future transaction. A true gentleman and a valued member of the forum.

Thanks, John!

Another, guess what, GMT and very happy buyer ...

A big thank you to John for his graciousness in letting me purchase an absolutely beautiful GMT 1675. Everything about it was great - nicely aged dial and hands, handsome case with beautiful bevels, lightly faded bezel insert and gorgeous bracelet. John, truly delivers, and an all-around great guy, to boot. Thanks again, John!
