6scape

Anyone have a history of dealings with 6scape? I want to do a deal but I need peace of mind.

Is this about the gmt LN he’s selling? I was also wondering if anyone dealt with him as his price seems to be better than anywhere else

Yeah thats what I’m looking at he gave me a great deal, but I’m a first time buyer just very hesitant because there’s hardly any references, besides one off Omega forums, but nothing here. I don’t want to get scammed as we all don’t.

Any advice?

Found your other post. Seems like it’s way to good to be true, lowballed him and he told me sure he needs the $ for another project. Than found out he told one member he’s from VA, and told myself that he’s from Amityville NY. Thanks TRF for helping avoid a BOMB.

Arg, I wish I had found this thread before dealing with 6scape! I can confirm that *NO ONE* should do business with him.

I've been chasing him for 3 weeks now, first to ship out the watch after I paid him, now to give me a refund. Already exchanged about 50 emails with the guy and have nothing to show for it.

As part of my vetting, I saw the reference on Omega Forums and also contacted another reference here with a decent number of posts (mrk pixben), who vouched for him. Red flag should have been that he insisted on wire transfer instead of PayPal, apparently because he'd been burned recently by a buyer who took back funds prematurely through PayPal, but wound up getting the watch shortly after. That raised an eyebrow, but I did some additional diligence for my comfort, including requesting multiple pictures of the watch set to a specific time with my name written next to it (to show he actually had it in his possession), and texting and talking to him by cell phone.

At this point I'm talking to attorneys to sue him for my money back. I let my desire to save a few hundred bucks get the better of me, and am paying the price. Please learn from my mistake and avoid dealing with 6scape at all costs!!!

Damn sorry to hear that. I was almost in your shoes but he seemed to desperate to make a deal on a low ball offer. Plus the pressure to send a wire immediately otherwise he’d sell else where. Hope it works out for you. Good luck !
