I would like to see a new SUB reference

Currently there are 8 Sub references. Kinda boring with just the blue, green or black themes that have now been out for a while.

How about mixing things up with a new color combination!

How about a Blue and Sea Green bezel, with a matching dial that blends from blue at the top to sea green at the bottom.

And perhaps use the crystal from the No Date Sub for those who may be tired of the same old Cyclops treatment on the Date models.

(The 2X Cyclops does little for me, anyway, I would need about a 5X now, with my degrading eyesight!)

I wonder, since Rolex engineers managed to come up with Cerachrom bezels that feature black, blue, red, green, and brown, PERHAPS they could also develop a sea green or maybe even an aqua blue type color.

Just saying this would make for an interesting new reference.

So you want another watch no bugger will be able to buy unless they are prepared to have their pants taken down by Grays and the "trusted sellers"

I wouldn't mind if the current range was replaced. It didn't do the Kermit any harm!

IMO, I think that's the whole rationale of the Tudor BB and Pelagos line...to be able to stretch their legs a little bit without losing their loyal sub followers. Just my two cents.

Even the notion that another color would be nice is offensive now? Are we such enormous Rolex fanbois?

Think what the aftermarket prices would be if the pulled the Smurf down to the steel range like they did with the BLRO. Although, what I'd really like to see is the return of champage Serti dials.

No. Just no. The Submariner is not a circus clown.

Why not have flashing LED lights incorporated too,and a neon banner saying look I am wearing a Rolex. And why have 5X go the whole hog and have 100X magnification, myself quite happy with sub range, although not a fan of the ceramic inserts on today's watches.

I would like to see a new SUB reference

Too much focus on the fashionista appeal methinks.

But changes inside may possibly be more useful. What about technical update to functional items?

SubXL - Improved design of the movement for more power reserve a’la the Daytona?

Sub Alarm - New alarm function a’la the old JLC diver with an extra crown to set and cancel an alarm.

Sub Air - an ultra light case and bracelet of Titanium with thin walls for just 3ATM rating - manual wind to save weight and case height - oh, and include a 2nd band - the OF strap in addition to the Ti bracelet.

OK - no more free design consulting.

Lots of graduates here from “The Grand Institute of Rolex Snobbery”

Something I must be reminded of once in a while unfortunately.

A red bezel on a sub would be fine as would a blue SS model. Buyers would eat them up regardless of what people think here. And yes the greys would of course control the sales as they do now with the most popular models.
