Smooth transaction with ocN55

I wired the money on Monday and had the watch on my wrist by Wednesday!

My first foray into Rolex and my first purchase through a seller on TRF. I definitely will be calling him again for my next purchase (as soon as I can save up enough).

Thanks Sam!

Thanks! I was really concerned about doing this transaction at first but Sam kept me informed and comfortable.

I'm sure this positive first experience will spiral into a problematic addiction like everything else in my life .

Cheers!

Ya, probably will. Its been a rabbit hole for me but it's all good. Your Blro looks like a Mk1 bezel by the way. Its a great first piece to have, thats for sure. I have a Blnr myself.. Cheers

An addiction for sure. I bought my first Rolex dj41 about 5 months ago and since have gotten a panerai, blro and a couple of seiko divers. Should be receiving a bluesy any day now, so definitely be ready to spend some money

Thanks for the tidbit of info. The date on the warranty card is 2019.

What distinguishes Mk1 vs any newer models?

Jesus, that's not a spiral, that's a full blown dive.

Good times

Warranty card shows date of sale not production. Those were first released in spring of '18. The first Blros had a slightly lighter shade of blue and they made 2 following changes on the shade to be darker. I wasn't even going to bring it up but pretty common knowledge with the WIS crowd. Here's another pic of my wife trying one on at the first AD showings just before the first release. Yours looks like a Mk1 to me in your first pic.
