This is more exciting than a season ending episode of 24!

Hang in there Mike...make sure you walk in the Fedex store looking like this... and I am sure they will not give you another run around.

I appreciate the fact that Mike is a perfect gentleman. The situation he has been through has been daunting. We would have all understood if he blew up from the nonsense and insanity. Instead. He rises to the situation presented to him. Remains calm. And soon we will see the watch.

Bravo Mike. These were not easy circumstances to take in stride.

Not what I expected to see when checking back in to this thread!

My sympathies, Mike, and good luck with this last hurdle!

It's been a long day but the package arrived safe and sound. I'll post up some quick and dirties shortly. Better pictures will have to wait as I've got family plans tonight and I'm flying out of town wicked early tomorrow morning.

I should mention that this was an unexpected pick up. Really a spur of the moment decision. The AD had it, I had thought about getting one in the past, and I said why not. It's been a pretty popular piece and I have to agree... it's very nice!

After a LONG week, I finally find myself facing my purchase...

My AD even included the latest Rolex magazine and a copy of iW...

Your typical outer Patek box...

Tissue wrapping...

Patek's inner box...

Polishing cloth...

Wood box...

Don't you just love Patek Philippe's packaging? (by the way, it's made in Thailand)

Well, I'm the proud owner of a BNIB 5167! Not my usual MO but it's an attractive model. I'll provide some of my thoughts after spending some time with it. I find it very interesting to compare against my 5164.
