Message quoting with pictures

This is just a suggestion, but I notice that if someone posts a great reply containing plenty of excellent photos, everyone who quotes that post automatically re-posts all the photos, and a popular post means a seemingly endless list of re-posts of the original photos.

My suggestion: the quote function merely lists hyperlinks to the original photos. This happens on other fora, so I know it is possible.
