M serial SS DJ Jubilee with steel/silver dial and Roulette date wheel.
REVIEW: The M-serial SS Datejust with Jubilee bracelet, steel domed bezel, and steel/silver dial with Roulette date wheel.
First of all, what strikes me is the fact that there are NO precious metals; therefore, the eye relies on various combinations of steel tones to form its opinion. The juxtapositions of subtle tones are numerous: The larger and duller toned brushed steel outer bands on the Jubilee bracelet mixed with the shiny polished and smaller but brighter internal bands for example. The fact that the new Jubilee style is contiguous around the bracelet and wrist, and absent a distracting clasp, aide in drawing the eye to the watch itself. It is here at the watch, with its simple and unobtrusive polished domed bezel, that forces the eye to the centerpiece. Looking through the crisp sapphire crystal the eye sees the steel and silver dial combination that further reinforces the connectivity of all the design elements. It is unblemished with large numerals or other impediments, and remains true to its simplistic form with stick markers and carefully placed tiny Roman numerals around the outer edge. Even the Rolex dial wording is of similar size and color as the outer edge Roman numerals. The applied Lume on each hand is in direct balance and proportion with the applied Lume on each marker. Lastly, of note, is that the inside of both the bracelet and watch head remain mark and word free further maintaining the focus on the true beauty of this great design combination. In fact, the only 'flair' to this watch is its Roulette date wheel giving the wearer a simple delight of a red date every other day. For an all steel watch, I'd say Rolex has found the right combination of everything to make it stand out yet remain true to its subtle dress function.

Great watch!! And nice fotos!
But i think that there are precious metals. Rolex used for the hands and numerals depending on the type always gold. White gold in this case.
