I prefer the smaller size due to its proportions and its lack of date.

I checked them out this weekend. On my wrist, the medium was definitely the better fit. However, despite being really attracted by photos over the past couple of months, in the metal the watch did nothing for me. Oh well.

I saw the big size Santos and dislike the date option.

The medium is incoming, thankfully it fit my wrist better, do not like date modules . . .

Looks fine but I prefer the smaller one which doesn't seem too small in fact

You’re welcome. Yes, it is a nice looking watch! I still glance at it every now and then when I’m in the mall browsing with my wife inside the Cartier store. Maybe someday, I just might cave in and diversify. |

That larger sized model has some serious wrist presence. I'm almost certainly going to pick a Cartier up, but I need to see them in person first. A friend of mine sold one on here recently and really took a beating on it. I'd really like to buy used, they just don't seem to come up too often.

Also, I used to be all in on having an all Rolex collection....out of nowhere I am majorly feeling the pull to diversify as well. Picked up a Panerai last month and absolutely loving it. Cartier is up next. But loving so many other brands too.

Love a few of the Cartier models . . .
the quick change, no tool needed bracelet/links of the Santos is especially cool . .

Cartier is a favorite of mine too. I love the quick change band. I wear SS some days and leather on others.

Literally everyone I know seems to prefer the new Drive, but for me I'm going to have to go Santos. |

Blue dial coming out very soon. Saw the brochure and was impressed by it. Comes with blue strap.

The medium Santos will be my only (yeah, right) watch purchase of 2019. I’m trying to put together a small collection of pilot watches and the Santos was the very first pilot watch.
Thank for the shots, solidifies my decision to grab one. |

Dang, that looks amazing in blue. Stunning. Having said that, I ordered the SS medium model and will have it by 10:30am tomorrow. So excited!
Does anyone know if it comes with the tool to add/remove links? |

To the OP, guess you’ve held off purchasing. I love the Santos, but it does look too large on your wrist. Some of the other variants posted here look great, good luck with your decision.

Gents,
Just received my SS Santos (medium) from FedEx. They were super late, but better late than never. First impression is I really like the size of the medium. I could absolutely see going medium or large, but as I was looking for more of a dress watch I went medium. The large definitely looks sportier. Overall I really like it. The blue hands seem to look black until you get into natural light. The blue really pops! Very happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looks great, congrats!
Date complication in most watches is a sad afterthought and I am glad you went with this model. Tried both and could never like the large size--proportions, date--all out of place.
