Experience with Chrono24

Hi folks,
I've had a DJ 41 on order with my AD since the first of the year. He tells me I'm #1 on the list but can give me no anticipated date for the receipt of this watch. I've checked Chrono24, and they have a number of these watches in stock, and I'm tempted to give up my place on the list and go with a watch that I might actually be able to wear before I die. The prices seem comparable.

Has anyone here had experience with Chrono24 good or bad? I'd appreciate any input/advice. Thanks.

Dave

No affiliation on my part but you should just go to someone like David SW and get a new, unworn one at a discount right away. No need to wait for a DJ...

I'm looking for DJ 41 with a blue dial, fluted bezel, and Jubilee SS and white gold bracelet. I also have a large wrist (8") and would probably need a couple extra links.

I would think about inquiring with another AD and see what they say? As for Chrono 24, I have no personal experience, but I've heard that it's supposed to be a pretty trustworthy place. When I was doing my research, I ran across one guy that purchased there and ended up getting a fake. I know he was going to dispute and get his money back. I don't know what ever happened. The site is trustworthy, but ultimately it comes down to the honesty of the individual seller/vendor.

I purchased a watch on Chrono24 last month from a dealer overseas. I only look for sellers that have "trusted checkout" where I can use a credit card, so if I run into any problems, can go through the cc company to dispute charges.

Watch was shipped immediately, great communication from the seller, and was exactly as described. I wouldn't have a problem using Chrono24 again (but only sellers with trusted checkout).

Definitely go somewhere else. Shouldn't be any wait for a DJ.

You will definitely be able to find one here with our trusted sellers. If you prefer AD I’ll be more than happy to have AD I use help you with that. PM me if you are interested

I also tried to get this same exact watch, which was announced at the Baselworld 2017.

Have not seen them at all and I have been to at least 6 ADs.

Definitely a tough watch to get as any Steel Sport, maybe even tougher.

I used chrono24 for my Omega Seamaster from a dealer in Italy. It was nerve wracking because it was my first purchase using that site. All went well, seller was awesome.. Check feedback, look for brick and mortar reviews of seller if possible. Most sellers on Chrono24 have shops.

Is it just the blue dial that's hard to find? I'm looking at possibly getting a white DJ 41.

I've been told that it's the blue dial that is tough to get. My AD has one with a different dial but I'm holding out for a blue one. And to respond to an earlier poster, the Jubilee bracelet is officially listed as Oyster steel and white gold. I've been to three other ADs in the general area (central IL), and all say that the blue dial, fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet is a hard combination to get.

I dont know about the White Dial.

But I too was trying to get the Blue Dial with the White Gold fluted bezel. No luck, so instead I got a Hulk.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the bracelet is actually stainless steel.

Yup. My AD told me that the blue stick dials wouldn't arrive to him until November of this year. That's the only one he says he can't get right away (and he has MANY others in the case, of course).
