I’m wearing a TT black Daytona right now. I love the gold trimmed subdials and gold hands. It’s a totally different look than an SS Daytona. Not better or worse IMO, just different.
I daily wear a Sub C Date so I feel an SS Daytona is redundant for me. The TT Daytona has a lot or flash and class. It’s the only watch that I constantly get compliments on. Oh and not to mention it’s cost effective compared to full gold or SS at the moment. Heading to church and family now with the TT Daytona and couldn’t be happier. Happy Easter all! |

There are haters for virtually anything and everything that exists.
(Including my Rolex-green text - apparently not too good with Tapatalk screen use on some phones.) Who cares about haters.

I did not like the TT Daytona before trying one on. It definitely looks better in person. It's a gorgeous watch. My only problem with TTs in general is that I find them a little too dressy to be worn while actually doing sports. The ultimate "Sports" Daytona would be the white gold model on Oysterflex. That you can where every day and everywhere.

I dislike all Daytona’s far too blingy for me.

Why all the TT Daytona hate?

I can assure you there are many more silent TT Daytona lovers - they just don’t post on watch forums. Take, for example, this group picture of TT Daytona lovers. I believe all of them cherish their new TT Daytona’s Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I still think the TT Daytona is striking, particularly with the white or black dial. And, as others have said, who cares if other Rolex lovers don’t love what you do? One of the beauties of life is that we think/see things differently. How dull would the world be if not. If you like the TT, go for it! Also know that trends are sure to shift and that, one day, you’re likely to own the more popular (and, probably, valuable) model. So now is the time to buy!

TT screams 90's jr stock broker and or dentist. Watches are a fashion statement, nothing more. At some point they may be back in style like wide bottom jeans or square tip shoes, who knows.

I don't own a Daytona but have been looking at the black dial two tone - I think it looks great. I also really like the older grey dial TT reference. I think Rolex does TT really werll - the Bluesy Sub in particular. Ignore the SS hype and go with what you like.
I also agree with the other poster that when the TT Daytonas go ceramic then it will take off. I am predicting this for the 2021 releases. |

I love mine. I am so tempted to get a 2-tone black dial too. I love haters so I can buy them under msrp.
