Finally Joined the Club ... New Explorer II
After spending way too many hours on this forum (at least according to my girlfriend) reading various reviews, opinions and just generally increasing my knowledge about Rolexes, I finally took the plunge and added a Polar Explorer II to my collection. At first I was leaning towards the GMT or the black Explorer II, but in the end I decided that there was just something extra sharp about that clean, crisp, white dial.
After deciding on which watch I wanted, I started to hunt around to find a "good" price. The first trip to my local AD didn't seem too promising. But, about a month later, I got invited to my AD's annual sale and was quoted a price that ended up being even more competitive than a gray dealer. Needless to say, I couldn't pass up such an opportunity and snatched this beauty up the other day. Now, I'm officially hooked, thanks, in large part, to TRF.  While I really enjoy reading everyone's stories, I love seeing pictures -- so here are a few I took today.

Great watch... Great picture, I can see where my wife and I lived right after we got married in 1987. Come January, your "Polar" will have a whole new meaning. Chicago is great in the summer.
