A lot of money in watches!

Came by these videos, I honestly don't know who this man is but obviously he is filthy rich and his watch collection worth millions of dollars. But for me being expensive doesn't mean tasty...

What do you guys think?

Each to his or her own, but there is nothing that I like in that collection.

He seems to be someone wealthy without a doubt. Obviously someone who has worked his way up and deserves every bit of his success. Appears eloquent, educated, and has his stand in society. Given it shows part of Beverly Hills, maybe someone associated with Hollywood perhaps.

The good part is that he's not just collecting for the "bling" factor, but actually knows about his collection. A few nice pieces there. Without a doubt worth quite a bit. Good for him.

That collection would look a lot nicer without all those diamonds.

Something about taking a nice watch and putting aftermarket diamonds all over it just ruins it for me.

Sheesh, now we know who should be the, "Next Most Interesting Man in the World", certified race car driver, pilot, speaks two languages, composer, producer, and developed the technology to separate tracks from Mono recordings that allowed modern day artists to do duets with Patsy Cline and others as well as for forensic audio analysis.

Or, he's what Mike Myers based "Austin Powers" on....

Not that I'm a competition to that guy.... Not in Beverly hills (no more) and no RR LOL, but..... I'm not complaining.... Not sure about his insurance claims but, that's what I have in the house (God bless Fort Knox) , plus the rest in the bank....

You can a good collection or bad collection but that again is subjective but if the guy is passionate about watches and knows his watches well, I think he is right guy for this hobby. He's not one who owns watches without even know what is the model or case or diameter or made of etc… He knows lot more than average buyer. So it is good collection and collector IMO.

Aside, he's celeb in his own right..

I'd want some of his watches though, definitely the RM and for fun & giggles the gold Patek nautilus full diamond paved, because why the hell not!

Good for him .. He's obviously worked hard to afford a collection like that, and I hope he enjoys everything he has in the greatest of health.

Good for him, and he obviously has money to burn, but for me storing watches in a bank is too much trouble.

He even says himself he almost never sees or wears them.

Just buying things to collect or hoard just feel like over consumption and a complete waste. I wouldn’t want to own things that I have to hide away.

Ymmv.
