Thoughts on this 1803 WB

https://www.chrono24.no/rolex/1803-d...-id7588012.htm

I read some good reviews of the seller here on the forums, but anyone have thoughts on the condition and price?

I've been drooling all over the wide boys lately (wow that sounds wrong), and I'm considering pulling the trigger on this watch.

He also sent me some pictures privately, and the edges look pretty nice and sharp.

It does appear to have some light/moderate wear/nicks/dings and the dial/movement looks to be slightly misaligned/tilted in the case (an easy adjustment).

However, the case looks to be very strong overall, and the dial/hands are in great shape, which are both more important factor for me personally.
Price seems in-line/fair for the condition as well (of course it can't hurt to throw out an offer/negotiate a bit.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I ended up buying it, at a decent discount even. I simply love this dial. It is by far my favorite looking. The clean outer-ring, no dot, no roman numerals, together with the wideboy dial and indicators.

It was also in even better condition than the pictures made it seem like, with lighting of the images being in the absolute least flattering angles to make every nick be presented as clearly as possible.

On the wrist, it looks in absolute mint condition.

Congrats! Big fan of the Wide Boy dials. Post some pics when you get a chance!
