I picked this up. What is it’s real? Total fake, repainted minute dashes, repainted ?

Looks like gold paint on top of the dial. Take a look at this link to understand gilt dials.

Also the silver print depth rating looks a bit too white to me but I don’t know enough to say with certainty. Or maybe it is the whiteness but the contrast between how white the depth rating is compared to the aging of the rest of the dial?

Yes no good that one.
Spacing is well off. All the 5508 pre-exclamtion gilt versions didn't have a 'maxi dial' style with 5 minutes markers touching the HR markers ! The thicker 5 minute markers should instead be slightly serifed both ways at the end... and circa 0.5mm away from the HR plots too.

  The crown and letting looks like another layer and not paint under the loop but I’m not 100% sure. The markers and minute markers are definitely repainted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
