Doing Face-to-Face transaction for the 1st time in US

Hi Guys,

I'm doing a face-to-face transaction with a gentleman I know from TZ. I want to get the watch authenticated before buying it. (Only problem being that local RSC is closed today and only Manhattan Wempe and Torneau are open today)

1. Would the dealers in Wempe and Torneau authenticate a watch for a person who just walked in?

2. If not, how can I check the authenticity of the watch? It comes with everything including papers.

Thank you.

Ask for service cost at Tourneau.
Why would you suspect the watch is not authentic?
