still looking for 5711/1R!

still on the hunt, and still no luck.
admittedly i don't have any AD relationships as all my pieces have been acquired from personal owners or resellers.

help a fellow (desperate!) member out and keep ur eyes/ears open for one, please!

find myself quite green with envy when now and then i see a very fortunate member with this model incoming, with a gorgeous photo posting.
oh, if only...

5711/1A will bide my time, continuing to wait in anticipation to be replaced...and patience remains my steady companion.

They can be found. Put your name down at your local AD and expect a 6-12 mth wait

That's really not bad at all. 6-12 months is pretty decent. Imagine if one wanted a blue dial. Name down, 60-84 months later...

I'd travel to as many ADs as you can and get on their lists. Also make sure any jewellery you buy you buy now at an AD so can be used as leverage. Grey prices are still climbing as with all Nauts so this will be harder to come by.

If you willing to pay a premium, you can get one from some of the grey dealers. If not, I afraid you have to wait. I've waited for mine for almost a year. Well worth the wait though.

Is it weird that I just put this pic on my desktop, when I have the real thing on my wrist.

Mine is coming in after 2 years of wait. Although my AD is a lot smaller it will come through with the higher echelon and priced pieces.

5711

I asked Mayors in Boca Raton if I can get on the list for a 5711. The lady laughed at me. I will never buy anything from them again because of her behavior, but the wait is very long...years.

There are plenty available, pay market price. Everybody pays market price one way or another.

I would expect some kind of respect from an AD, even if it means asking for one of the most popular piece within the brand. Laughing at a client is demeaning and an unacceptable treatment for any luxury brand with such pedigree.

My AD has never laughed at my requests and always try to work with me whenever I request one of the popular pieces. Time for you to leave them and find another AD who would treat you better!

I started another thread in here regarding the Mayors in Vegas. These guys need a lesson in sales and get taught some manners. It's a recurring theme that they show this attitude. If someone is ready to spend 50K, I wouldn't be laughing at them...

Absolutely agree! I wouldn’t do business with an establishment who I feel doesn’t show respect.

To OP, keep at it! There’s a lot of good AD’s out there.. show some passion and build some rapport with a couple and things could turn your way.

What a difference a year makes. Around this time last year, I found 3 in a week, all at 48.5, for me and a couple buddies.
