Rolex 6518 hands

I have seen (what i assume is) a 6518 arrowhead OP Date. It has batons for hands but most photos i have seen have alpha or dauphine hands. Did the 6518 ever come with batons? Sorry about the photo, had my kids with me so it was just a quick photo through the window. I have bought from this jewellers before and trust him.

They are most likely later service hands. The correct hands can be found easy enough though. The bracelet looks to be later as well.

The bracelet is folded links which i thought was correct for the 60’s (not sure of the date yet but i remember him telling me before he had it in his shop it was from the 60’s). vintagewatchcompany.com has a similar 6518 with batons.

If its early 60s then it should be a rivet bracelet. Late 60s it could be either or. The style of the dial should put it in the very early 60s. Should most likely have a 7205 rivet bracelet as original. Bracelets, dials and hands are very easily swapped during service. Most likely, these parts were replaced in a service during the 1970s.
