5205R vs 5164A

Hi
I need some ideas from our friend here.
I now have 5726g and 5230g. I am happy with both and now having dilemma between 5205R and 5164A.
I like 5205R for its modern classic look, Rose Gold, daily dress style. But I already have the annual calendar watch (5726) and 5230G can serve me for daily dress watch.
I like 5164a for its sporty look but shape and feel very similar to my 5726. I also have many of tool watches already, ie, Hulk, Batman, 5513, 2 Daytona, Coke.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this dilemma. I sure it will very helpful for me.

Congrats on the 2 new Pateks as i know you wore Rolex as a daily wearer in another post in April.

You already have sn extensive Rolex collection but no dual time so i would go 5164

Thank you for remembering of me :) yep! I have quite extensive range for Rolex. 5164A is also my leading option. I see I will use it more than 5205.

I had the same dilemma and ended up with the 5164a.

Looking at your current collection, i will go with the 5205r.

Apart from function, for me, the material of the case really makes a difference in look and feel. So having a rose gold watch will definitely adds the variety element to your current collection.

Forget the 5205 as you already have an AC complication. The 5164a will definitely blow your mind away!

That’s Rose Gold will make different for sure. That’s one important reason. Thanks

I would get the 5164 and if you really want the 5205 too I would sell some of those similar Rolexes for it.

Thanks.... but I am afraid I couldn’t make up my mind to sell Rolex.
Coke, 5513 and Daytona Black are now my classic.
Hulk, Batman and White Daytona Ceramic are my daily watch.

5614 will be good daily watch too

Love the 5205 - the white and black dial ones are so beautiful. Wear with pride.

This is my favourite 5205 variant. I feel the black and gold variant make me look old as well.

Great watch Op
