Is it weird that my first watch picture on TRF is a my first watch. Unfortunately it is out of comission and I have had it serviced twice but it is basically dead. A new movement would probably solve the issue, but for a $100 watch it probably isn't worth it.

Oh, I don't know.. But..for my First watch, I would investigate the cost of a new movement, which probably wouldn't be that expensive.. Just to revive a tradition.
But that's just me.
I've spent some coin on reviving my grandfathers old Hamilton and Dad's Elgin..etal.. Just because they needed service and to keep the tradition Alive..
That's my take..

Nice!! I have a 400 serial number range out of 1,000. I was thinking of having mine regulated as it tends to run about +10 ish now vs the +5 initially.

Good luck with your search - I'm happy I finally added an MM300 to my humble divers collection

I have actually had it serviced a couple times, but maybe just an entirely new movement is the right answer.

A couple of my builds for the holidays. The SKX was for the local watch club Christmas charity auction, and the other was for a Christmas present.

Thanks !

Those are the first watches I have used a bead blasted finish, and I like the rough tool look.

Turtle I freshened up for a customer today. He wanted me to take some quick shots of it with my D3300. Looks like this thing was never opened!
