Make sure to try local pawn shops.

If he’s stupid enough to put it on Craigslist, he might also try pawning it.

Also check other forms of online sales.

Facebook marketplace, offer up, stuff like that.

I really hope he's found somehow via local pawnshops or cragislist. I hope he gets what he deserves and you get compensated.

I know this is of no help, but that is one of the nicest looking watches I’ve seen in quite a long time. I’m sorry to throw salt in the wound, but you really took fantastic care of that watch, and it shows. I’m terribly sorry to hear this happened, and I wish you the best of luck in a resolution that gets the watch back to you in the same condition it left.

With that said, I did a little googling of the name and was able to find a potential mugshot from a prior crime. I’m sure the authorities have already come across the same info I found (and probably much, much more), but just letting you know there’s potentially info out there on this scammer if it’s the same person as the pic. That should help in tracking the person down.
