I got mine on Saturday too. Fun little watch and I like the hodinkee branding on the box.
Like others said just a fun little toy to to remind me that I am a true watch fan and can enjoy something at every price range.

Got mine today! cool little watch and its comfortable... yeah nothing about the watch is expensive but it's fun to wear and the system 51 has some (small I know) horological significance!

Was able to attend the launch event at the Swatch store in Times Square and picked one up. Very fun piece, feels super light on the wrist. Movement is loud!

I've had one (see, e.g., https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...ghlight=Swatch) for about a year. One is enough for me.

Got mine tonight. It’s a fun little watch. Surprisingly nice dial for $150. The rubber on the band is way softer and nicer than I remember from Swatch. I like it. Here’s a wrist shot.

Any chance these will ever be back in stock or was it a once and done kind of deal? Got the waitlist email but was too late to the party when they were in stock for about 2 hours.

There is one in the classifieds here if you want to pay a lot more for it.

Ha. Wonder if anyone has offered him $100 yet?? This is not a limited run or edition. You see it on eBay with the Dan Henry watches too. But with a watch you can go on Dans site and make 2 clicks and buy, for $230 free shipping. And people on Ebay want $325??? Are people really that dumb??

Its no different than people paying thousands over MSRP for a Rolex SS sport watch because they want it now and dont want to wait.

True. Except for this Swatch has been available the 3 times that I have went to look at it while perusing HODINKEE’s new watch Sales section. Rolex dealers are telling people the wait for a SS Daytona is 4 years or more.

True, I guess it comes down to how bad you want it. Just like the blue Ming watch. They were on eBay for $2k and actually sold at that price.

It’s all supply and demand.

They are done making it. The "waitlist" are for returned or cancelled orders, so whoever signed up can still have a chance and get one. This is what Hodinkee said upon shipping mine. I was hoping to pick up another for my nephew.
