Waiting on my first AP - The 26311ST chrono with blue dial. Due in October. Connected with an AD in Connecticut by christianj right here on TRF. While the wait is killing me, it'll be even sweeter having waited. AT least that's what I'm telling myself!

He reminds me of a drug dealer working his corner. Everyone wants the hookup to some great product.

The fact this thread has sustained for so long is hilarious.

We only see the "PM me please" bumps, i would hate to see what his inbox actually looks like

I'm happy to help TRF members with an introduction to a good AD and hope that it proves useful.

Hmm. I hope this is not a certain TRF member we know who is the king of AP discounts that has opened a new TRF account.

Hard to offer you comfort on this matter, not least as I don't know whom you refer to.

You don't know how lucky you are.

We are just messing, not with your admirable offers of help, but more on the reactions and then no action.

Some of the folks on here know. Purely posted for humor, not intended to jab at you.

You can get a brand new in box from the forums for around 13.5k but pretty much no discount for the blue dial.

Not any more. Prices have moved up in last few weeks and from what I hear will stay up. We shall see...

I remember the glory days when they were 12k BNIB all day here. Also 15202s were 18-20k and 5711 were full MSRP

If you told me last year where we would be today, I would have said you're high!

Life's too short for that! If you feel bad, just talk to the vintage guys about regrets.

I sold a 5167 for 14,500. I sold a 5711 white for 20k. I sold a ceramic diver for 20k.

As they say, want to make a million dollars flipping watches? Start with 2 million

Although lately I have to admit I've been making money on everything. Feels good for a change.

True...hindsight. On the watches I've sold over the past year I've made money on as well. Could get used to this!

I sold my 15300 blue dial (back in the day, they weren't boutique editions) for $6,250 back in 2009. Boy do I regret that now.

Things have gone topsy turvy of late across a large number of models but in reality it is only the ego that has taken a it of a bruising with selling too early, a few grand extra here of there makes no real difference.

Every time I look, prices seem to go up $1k or so. Making it difficult to save for one these days I was in range last year but the cost had gone up again so I just went off and got a bluesy instead.

I'm so glad I bought my 15400 when I did back in March. Prices are definitely creeping up now. Just look at the trusted sellers' prices now.

glad you got it. Every AP collection needs a RO on a bracelet. Model or dial color is irrelevant as long as you get a bracelet .
