Off to the spa...

Well ye olde hair spring broke on my 15300...only 3 years since the last movement service. Long enough to be out of warranty.

Only choice is a full service...I also opted for a case refinishing. It will be the second as I bought the Watch pre-owned.

Afraid I didn’t take any before pics. But truth be told, there were only some small dents on the bezel edge and scuffs on the case chamfers and one lug hole. Bracelet had a few scuffs on the brush marks as well. The watch maker gave no warnings of refinishing dangers...

So, I figured YOLO...It will be nice to have a new watch in 11 weeks or so!

I would have done the same! Might as well get something back besides a working ticker

Thanks for the affirmation! I hemmed and hawed about it for a bit.

The watch is an H serial - so last of the Mohicans / not very old so to speak. But as we know, these watches scratch if you look at them funny.
